• 1 pack Sympli Yam Fries
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 250ml vegetable oil
  • 1 medium onion, pureed
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 bunch of cilantro, chopped
  • 1 head of spring onion, chopped
  • Salt to taste

Beat eggs in a mixing bowl; add spices, pepper, onion paste and salt to taste.

Coat frozen Sympli Yam Fries in the beaten egg mixture.

Heat oil in a saucepan, and fry the coated yam fries until golden brown and crispy.

CAUTION: The oil may bubble and pop out of the fryer. Place only one piece at a time into the hot oil. Fry only moderate amounts of frozen food at a time, making sure to remove freezer burn or any excess ice before cooking. If frozen pieces get stuck together, they should be allowed to defrost slightly and then broken up before inserting into hot oil. DO NOT LEAVE UNATTENDED WHEN FRYING.

Drain, and garnish with chopped spring onions and cilantro. Serve hot.
