  • 1 pack Sympli Yam Cubes
  • 1 pack Sympli Ripe Plantain Dodo
  • 1 pack Sympli Unripe Plantain Chips
  • 750mL shredded pumpkin leaves (Ugu)
  • 250mL palm oil
  • 2 seasoning cubes
  • 1 large onion
  • 2 tbsp crayfish
  • 2 medium-sized roasted Titus fish
  • 1 tbsp black pepper
  • Salt to taste
  • Garlic spice to taste
  • Ginger spice to taste

Preparation

How to Prepare Yam and Plantain Porridge using Symplinatural Recipes.

Yam and Plantain Porridge;

Boil 750mL of water in a pan.

Add Sympli Yam cubes and Unripe Plantain Chips; allow to cook for 5 minutes. Then add Sympli Ripe Plantain Slices.

Add 2 cubes of seasoning, salt, black pepper, spices, shredded onion and grounded crayfish.

Shred the roasted Titus fish and add to the mixture. Add palm oil, stir, and allow to cook for 7 minutes. Now add the shredded pumpkin leaves, stir, and allow to simmer for 5 minutes on low heat.

Serve with your preferred protein. In this recipe we used snails.
