• 2 packs Sympli Yam Cubes
  • 6 medium tomatoes
  • 5 fresh peppers
  • 2 medium red bell peppers
  • 1 medium green bell pepper
  • 4 garlic cloves
  • 1 medium onion bulb
  • 180g sweet corn
  • 91g shredded spring onions
  • 120mL palm oil
  • 1 tbsp dry ground pepper
  • 1 tbsp ground crayfish
  • ½ tsp curry powder
  • ¼ tsp thyme
  • 3 seasoning cubes
  • Salt to taste


How to Prepare Yam Goulash using Symplinatural Recipes.

Yam Goulash

Blend fresh tomatoes, fresh peppers, onion bulb, garlic and 1 red bell pepper.

Heat palm oil in a small pot, and add the blended purée. Mix thoroughly, and leave to fry for about 5 minutes, or until oil starts to bubble on the surface.

Meanwhile, heat 475mL water in a big pot; bring to a rolling boil. Add Sympli Yam Cubes.

Add fried purée, curry powder, thyme, seasoning cubes dry ground pepper, ground crayfish and salt to the big pot. Stir thoroughly to combine ingredients, and leave to cook for 8 minutes. You will notice the liquid start to thicken.

Add diced green and red bell peppers, shredded spring onions and sweet corn. Leave to simmer for two more minutes, and then turn heat off.
