  •  1 pack Sympli Yam Cubes
  •  1 tbsp pepper soup spice
  •  6 scotch bonnet chillies (Atarodo)
  •  1 large onion
  •  2 tbsp crayfish
  •  10 pieces assorted goat meat
  • 40g chopped scent leaves
  •  4 seasoning cubes
  • 475mL water
  •  Salt to taste


Yam and Goat Meat Pepper Soup;

Wash meat thoroughly into a medium sized pot. Add 2 seasoning cubes, salt, ¼ chopped onion and 240mL of water. Cover pot and allow to cook until meat is tender.

Meanwhile in a food processor, add the crayfish, scotch bonnet chillies and remaining onion. Blend roughly —should not be smooth.

When the meat is soft, add in 240mL of water, the pepper mixture, pepper soup spice, remaining seasoning cubes and salt.

Stir and cover.

When the soup is boiling, cut open the pack of Sympli Yam Cubes and add in directly from frozen. Allow to cook for 3 minutes, add scent leaves, and stir.
