  • 3 packs Sympli Unripe Plantain Chips
  • 6 medium fresh tomatoes
  • 5 fresh peppers
  • 4 garlic cloves
  • 1 medium onion bulb
  • 250mL palm oil
  • 1 tbsp dry ground pepper
  • 1 tbsp ground crayfish
  • ½ tsp curry powder
  • ¼ tsp thyme
  • 2 seasoning cubes
  • 1kg shredded green vegetable
  • Salt to taste

Preparation

Plantain Porridge

How to Prepare Plantain Porridge using symplinatural recipes.

Blend fresh tomatoes, fresh pepper, one red bell pepper, onion bulb and garlic.

Heat palm oil in a small pot, and add blended purée. Mix thoroughly, and leave to fry for about 5 minutes or until oil starts to bubble on the surface.

Meanwhile heat up 500mL of water in a big pot, bring to a rolling boil.

Add Sympli Unripe Plantain Chips.

Next add fried purée, curry powder, thyme, seasoning cubes dry ground pepper, ground crayfish and salt to taste. Stir thoroughly to combine ingredients; leave to cook for 8 minutes. You will notice the liquid start to thicken.

Finally, add shredded green leaves; stir to combine thoroughly, and take off heat immediately.
