- 1 pack Of Sympli ripe plantains
- 738g flour
- 75g butter
- ½ teaspoon baking powder
- 240g milk
- 2 eggs
- 100g sugar
- 1 teaspoon Salt
Preparation
How to Prepare Plantain Chin Chin.
Empty a pack of Sympli ripe plantains in a food processor/blender, add milk, butter and egg. Blend till smooth.
In a mixing bowl, add flour, baking powder, sugar and salt. Mix evenly.
Pour in blended plantain into mixed ingredient bowl a little at a time, work the mixture until all is thoroughly combined.
Transfer the dough to a floured board and knead till the dough is not sticky. (Sprinkle more flour onto the dough as necessary)
Roll out the dough till it’s ¼ inch thick (not very thin) and cut into desired shape.
Line in a baking tray and spray evenly with cooking oil.
Meanwhile heat up oven to 180 degree Celsius and bake for 20 minutes.
Alternatively, you can deep fry already cut dough for 4 minutes or till it turns golden brown.
Allow to cool and enjoy crunchy and tasty plantain chin chin.
