Ingredients
- 1 Pack Sympli yam cubes
- 240ml coconut milk
- 4 scotch bonnet pepper
- 1 tablespoon crayfish
- 3 seasoning cubes
- ½ bulb onion
- 120ml water
- Salt to taste
Preparation
Coconut Yam Porridge;
Blend pepper, crayfish and onion in a food processor. Set aside.
Pour coconut milk in a pot and place on medium heat. Add blended pepper mix, 120ml of water and bring to a rolling boil.
Tear open a pack of Sympli yam cubes, and add to the boiling coconut milk. Add seasoning cubes, and sprinkle some salt to taste.
Cover and cook for 7 minutes or until yam is tender. Turn off heat.
Serve Hot.
